I kept putting off reading this book for some reason or another. None were valid. I was simply intimidated. I will tell you that for me the book was tedious for a good while. If it weren't for reviews from people that I trusted I would have laid the book down and never picked it up again. I would have missed a great story. The first half of the book could have been cut down to a few chapters of back story and character building on Mikail and Lisbeth. Once it got going it was really good and I was hooked.

Definitely a lot easier to read than The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. So much information to really let you know Salander and understand what she has been through. I really need to be reading my book club book but I have to jump into The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest just to see how the whole story ends.
