I need people to stop recommending books that feels like i’m reading a fever dream. I skipped half of this book tbh.

It wasn’t bad. It just didn’t resonate with me too much. I do appreciate that this is from her experience and is raw.

I’m speechless. This book so perfect captured what’s it’s like to be in a toxic relationship, and how sometimes it happens in bits and pieces. Leah was little by little getting isolated. This book ripped my heart out in the gentlest way possible. This book was so raw & honest, it did not try to romanticize addiction or toxic relationships. We also could see how Leah was somewhat addicted to Charlie & the idea of them.

It was a beautiful story about addiction and grief, but i found the characters to be dull & the story to be slow paced. I could not stand Avery, she has a victim complex. I did love how it portrayed sisterhood, which i never relate to, as i have a brother, but i felt like i was with them.
