A Young Adult murder mystery romcom with a slow burn romance between a human teenager who starts to get mysterious powers and his werewolf classmate who he has been crushing on forever… sign me up.
This book was full of nostalgic joy. I really enjoyed the characters being slightly morally confusing and the element of realism from their petty teenage mistakes. I was absolutely invested in the mystery of this book and the paranormal elements flowed so easily without feeling like there was intense world-building.
Highly recommend for teens and adults who are looking for a classic magic-style book with loveable characters and strong themes of friendship. Another absolute hit from F.T. Lukens.
