I would give this book a 3.5 if possible. I enjoyed it but some parts were too detailed and sort of boring to read about. Fun sic-fi that reads a bit like an action movie/players manual.
Actually I would give this a 3.5 if I could. I found it slow going in places and had trouble caring about the characters and the story. For the amount of detail, I was left feeling that I wasn't getting all of it. Details were vague where I needed them to be clear and clear for events that I felt were superfluous to the plot. There were parts where I really enjoyed the writing as well making it hard for me to form my opinion definitively.
