I read this book for book club. I liked it, but it definitely wasn’t one of my favorite books. At first I was so exited to read it and thought it would be so good. I was slightly disappointed I did not love it more. It felt very childish. Not the topic which was mature, with it being about sexuality and love. But the authors writing style. It was written about a middle school boy, and it seemed like a middle school student wrote it. Which fitted, yet I don’t really like that style of writing. When the author was talking about something they would often put in a random thought which did not connect with what’s they were taking about. It got me confused. I couldn’t see why the author had bothered to mention it. You would never have guessed who blue was. If you did I would be very surprised. I was not expecting it to be him. It was a cute story, but not one of the best books ever.

I didn’t exactly like this book, but it was nice. All the characters are properly developed and I can tell that we are going to learn so much home about who they are in the coming books. What really made this book so nice, was that it was a quick easy read. The book itself is not too long, nor is it overly complicated and heavy. I hope the rest of the series continues in this light, vaguely dystopian way. The vampire aspect is very cliche as in how most people think of vampires or vampire books. Honestly, though right now I am fine with it.

The books are getting a bit more cliche and predictable. But being an omniscient reader is not too bad every once in a while. The books have continued to be written in a light, fast paced, easy read style. I’m thinking I might even make it through this series, despite the fact that vampire books really went out of style for me after Twilight. Speaking of which, this book includes no werewolves as of yet. Anyway, while the series is long, it is passes by very quickly.

It was a good book. The plot was well thought out and had a great story that intrigued me. However I just don't feel I could relate to the characters as much as I could in some of her other books. I also made the mistake of reading Tales From The Shadowhunter Academy before this, meaning I already knew where everybody ended up. That might of spoiled it a bid for me. I also did not like Will a lot, he was awfully rude and a bit mean. Overall I think the mortal instruments is a better series. Although if you are a Cassandra Clare fanatic as I am you still might want to read it. And also that this is just my opinion, don't let this or any review drive you away from reading a book you want to and think will be good.

The infernal devices series is much different than any other series I have read. Mostly because it takes place in Victorian London. But also because Cassandra Clare is just a phenomenal author whose books you can fall into emotionally. At first I was unsure and after the first Book I doubted I would even like the series at all. I feel that Will is becoming a better person than he was before which I was hoping would happen because I've been waiting a long time to read about "the famous will herondale". So if you are a Cassandra Clare fanatic like me you problem will have already picked up the book right now. If you are not (you should become one) then I still recommend reading this series it will just get better and better as the series progresses.

As usual Cassandra Clare never fails to impress. This book was by far the best in The Infernal Devices series. All the characters evolved and we evolved with them but this book just wraps up everything very nicely. Like a present. I, personally, did not feel as much as an emotional connection as I did in The Mortal Instruments but that doesn't mean the infernal devices was any less amazing. I've been waiting a whole Trilogy and finally Will Herondale has lived up to his name. I would definitely recommend this series, as with all of Cassandra's other books. I cannot wait until The Last Hours comes out when we can finally continue Jem, Tessa, and will's story. So exciting!

A great book for Latin beginners. My class had so much run reading this together. We really improved on our latin and had a lot of fun with the plot.

Actually, this book is pretty good. Its a very heavy read and takes a long long time to get through. Some chapters are more dull than others and those don’t go by so quickly, but it somewhat adds to the old feel of the story, as that is how many classics are too. That is my only complaint. I liked almost everything else about this book. I am not sure I will read the fourth book, at least not for a while because it takes me over a month to get through one book and there are also so many other books I want to read.
When the Stars Lead to You by Ronni Davis

Such a sweet contemporary romance. It was serious at times, but I really love what Davis was doing in her book. One of the main characters has depression and I like that she was able to bring that to the forefront of her book. It was also not typical character going to therapy and just being sad sometimes because thats not how it always is, she showed it how it is. Off topic, it did make me wonder why books do not have trigger warnings. I felt better when I saw helplines at the end of the book, but a part of me feels like there should be just a little warning at the front of the book, to let you know. Maybe thats just me. Anyway I loved the book and found that all the characters and their struggles were real, fleshed out pieces to her book.

One of Shakespeare’s simpler plays, but still an amazing piece. So it was pretty easy to understand. But, finally, a strong, independent, don’t-need-no-man, woman. The sexual tension was very heavy in the play and partially it added to the story because a lot of fuss was made ... of nothing. This has been one of the better Shakespeare plays I have read and it has made me want to read more of his work. I’m always up for a good love story.
