Filled with annoying stereotypes. Finished it on a plane, or else it would have been DNF

A more character driven PI & writer led thriller than your average.  I really enjoyed it, although I really enjoy noir and all the tropes of the genre, which are all present here. (Tortured alcoholic PI, femme fatales, etc.)  I found it more emotional than this genres usually allows, which was a nice change of pace.  It was sentimental and maybe even romantic and this suits my current mood!  Definitely a well written and exciting thriller novel.

I received an ARC from NetGalley.

I love the world Gibson created and because of the style of this book I felt like I was able to see more of it.

You will enjoy this book if you want to read about entitled, rich, English women acting ridiculous and horrible.  These are not likable characters and they are not supposed to be likable.  Fast read; is probably exactly how you think it is from the blurb.

I enjoyed this graphic novel! The art was gritty and has a 90s comics vibe. The story was a decent horror mystery with a dark somewhat supernatural Nancy Drew tone.
Gotta love that it takes place in Nova Scotia, I don't think I have ever seen that before!

Whoa, this book was a wild ride.  It includes both flying cars and ghosts!  A sci-fi thriller with twists and turns, I was never sure what was going to happen next.  It covers topics such as transhumanism, patriarchy, folklore...  In my opinion it seemed to drag a bit about a third of the way through but after pushing through that it was an action-packed whirlwind.  I am glad I read it and won't forget it anytime soon.

I received an ARC from Kensington books.  Thanks!
