Bound By Treason by Eliza Tilton

Novellas are really tricky. Finding the right balance of world building and plot in as little as possible is hard.

The bones are really good in this book. I love the plot and I enjoyed it til about 40% in. Then everything went too fast. So much was happening, I couldn't keep up. Then the ending just changed the tone. The romance was barely there and felt forced in. I would rather it wasn't in it.

It's not a bad just a little rushed even for a novella.

Another great holiday novella by Kimberly! This time we meet Daphne, who is hellbent on getting revenge on her sister and ex. Little does she know she will soon meet Krampus, who intends to punish her 😈

Of course Kimberly's humor and smut is top tier. It's the perfect balance for a novella. I also enjoyed the connection to Two Scoops of Hellfire.

I loved this book! It's the perfect companion to Serpent and Dove. I liked that you don't necessarily need to read the Serpent and Dove Trilogy but why wouldn't you?!

Celie went from side character to great female lead! Her journey was a roller coaster of emotions but so good. She is not the same girl from Serpent and Dove.

I loved thr lore of the vampires, ghosts and everything about Requiem.

The side characters are a huge selling point. Dimitri's story broke my heart especially.

Michal oh Michal. I love this arrogant, dark and mysterious vampire. He manages to push Celie and help her heal and come onto herself.

The pace was a little off in the beginning and it take me awhile to get completely invested but it definitely makes up for it by the end. That cliffhanger though! So not cool!

I'll warn you know there is a massive cliffhanger! And I'm dying to know more!

I loved the story and the characters! A woman looking for a new beginning arrives on small town and her world is turned upside down. Not only does she wake to four men claiming to he her mate but she's a werewolf.

I love watching Noah navigate the new world and her attraction to these hunky men, Ellery, Perth, Ruger, and Gannon. Each man has a unique relationship with her and knows just what she needs.

There is an unlying mystery of who put her into the hunt and why. I'm dying for answers! Again that cliffhanger should be illegal!

If your looking for a slow slow burn, why choose, werewolf story with humor, tension and mystery then pick this book up!

This was the werewolf story I was hungry for!

Seneca has been dealt a rough hand. Her mother is gone, an insane Alpha wants her to submit and she's on the verge to getting her hand. As a result of some traumatic events, Seneca and her new wolf go rabid. She's fueled by rage, just trying to survive. Plus she's thrown into the a new pack with an even dangerous Alpha.

I loved Seneca's journey as she navigates this new pack and her past trauma. Her chemistry is with Alpha Tyran was everything. His brand of tough love and tenderness was perfection.

I can't express what I an emotional and fun ride this was! Please do yourselves a favor and read this one!

A tension filled romance with some creepy AF vampires and a war in the background.

I loved the twist on these vampires. Definitely the stuff of nightmares. The tension was perfection. You never knew what was in the dark. *chills*

I loved our two main characters Nena and Nestor. Childhood friends torn apart by tragedy and brought back together is always interesting. And boy does this one deliver.

This tension filled story had be by the balls the whole time. Definitely a worthy read for spooky season.
