This is a quick easy novella to read. It follows a professional WNBA player named Jade who has a reputation for being cold hearted and so her manager, Cliff, suggests she fake date someone to improve her image. Jade suggests Cliff fake date her since they are already best friends and so nothing could possibly go wrong. Cliff has wanted Jade to be his ever since they first met and so he agrees. This novella was easy to read and I did enjoy it. It made me giggle and root for the characters for sure. I will say the reason I feel it doesn’t quite hit 3 stars for me is because it felt too rushed and I would have loved to see the tension build more in a longer style novel. Overall I had a good time and I would read another story by this author!

This is the second book following Shadows of the Crown and I love this world! We continue to follow Ariella and Caspian through this magical world. One of the things I had a hard time with in the first book was following the magical system and how all of that works but in the beginning of this book it is all laid out for you which was super helpful and I feel like I understand the magic system and world a little better now. I also loved that there was a small recap in the beginning of the book to get us back into the world! I’m super excited to read the next book!

This is a prequel novella for Camden Church’s novel Ruined God! If you’ve read the Hockey Gods series, yes it is that same Camden Church from Fierce Obsession 😍 I’m not going to lie when I first started this novella, I couldn’t remember who Camden Church was in Fierce Obsession but a quick Kindle search got me there 😅 I will say, Sara does an amazing job of writing Dark Hockey Romance and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I will jump at all the opportunities to read her writing! She’s 100% in my top 5 authors of all time! This novella does such a good job at setting up the next novel that will take place after Fierce Obsession and I cannot wait to read it! This novella gave me all the feels and left me wanting sooooo much more! Honestly my only complaint is that I wish this was a full sized novel instead of a novella! The ending leaves so much open but I trust Sara to bring it all together in the next one! If you need a sign to read this novella, this is it! Go check it out if you are a fan of dark romance. You won’t be disappointed! 🥰

THIS. BOOK!!! It’s just amazing honestly! It follows Tyler and Noah from when they meet at age 12 until their late twenties. It is a military MM romance and it’s truly a heart wrenching story! Shae does such a good job at making her reader suffer during the story but being thankful for it! I trust her process to bring the story to a conclusion that is both satisfying and exactly how it needs to be! This book made me cry, made me mad, and made me so giddy while kicking my feet. I love how Shae can give me so many emotions by just words on paper! In this book, the characters felt so real and like they were my friends. I got made at them and loved them fiercely! The plot made sense with its progression and conclusion. The spice in this book wasn’t as much as some others Shae has written but the spice that was in there was absolutely top tier! I’m so happy with how this story turned out and I can’t wait to see what Shae writes next! 😍

This book was addicting! I was so excited to read Tracy’s story after reading her friend Riley’s story! This book follows Tracy and Blake. It’s the first in a 2 book story for them and takes place 5 years before Riley’s story. Blake owns a Reality Broker agency and Tracy is a Realtor working for Blake. It’s a workplace bully romance and it has all the tension! I loved seeing the history of Tracy and Blake and watching them fall in love! I didn’t expect the ending to happen and I’m so sad! I need the next book like yesterday 😫 The spice in this book was top notch! And I couldn’t get enough of it 🥵 I can’t wait for the next one!!

This was my first book I’ve read by AM Wagner and it was so good! It follows Riley and Emmett through their obsession at first sight love story. I felt this story did a good job at making the MMC just morally grey enough to be believable and made the FMC just damsel in distress enough for her to still be one of the strongest characters I’ve ever read about. Their love started out so rocky and Riley really had the right reactions in my opinion to all the crazy Emmett did at first but I’m so glad that in the end she realized the difference between her ex and Emmett. Riley’s past and everything she goes through is so heartbreaking and I’m so proud of her for where she ends up mentally by the end! I’m excited to see Tracy and Blake’s love story unravel! 😍

This was my first book I’ve read by AM Wagner and it was so good! It follows Riley and Emmett through their obsession at first sight love story. I put off reading this last book of the series because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to it yet! This book was everything I wanted it to be to finish off this story! I think the conclusions all made sense and even while they were tying up loose ends, the action never ceased! I thought for sure it would be so difficult to defeat the villain but I knew the characters would have to find creative ways to try to turn fate towards their favor! I wish we got even more of their life and I wish we saw more of Geraldine and Max’s relationship unfold but I still loved it! This series is everything! My absolute favorite series to date 😍

This novella follows Bella and Gabe in a Beauty in the Beast retelling. Bella is both the Beauty and the Beast but Gabe is not compelled by her Beauty. I loved this retelling! Dakota Monroe knows how to write in a way that has you connecting to the characters without even realizing it! It wasn’t until about half way through that I started to really realize how much I cared for the well being of both these characters! It made my heart break when theirs were breaking and made me feel the love through the pages! Honestly the only true downfall for this is that it’s a novella! I wanted more 😅 I would love to read more of Dakotas work in this world 😍

I really enjoyed this book. I will say I felt like I was starting to get into a bit of a book slump before this book but I couldn’t put this book down! I just had to know what was going to happen next. I did try to theorize throughout reading and I will say I did close or predict certain things but I think the big reveal was well done and I didn’t predict that.
