Inspiring, shocking, eye opening, heartbreaking and interesting read. I honestly would not have ever imagined someone to be able to go through the things that Joy did. There was a heavier religious aspect to the story than I was expecting. I would have liked to have heard more about her time on the set of OTH and time with the cast. However I understand that this wasn't the main aspect of the book. Perhaps this will be a future book idea 🤔
Overall, I devoured this book and struggled to put it down.
