Too down to earth, domestic and without the usual adventures.

A new dark and gritty take on the famous creation of Batman. Realistic, disturbing and bold.

Mysterious connections, divinity, bloodlines, sacrifice and one’s own self form a rich and compact tale in the borderline between myth and reality.

The possibility of a good story are in there, but are treated with shallowness and flair.

A truly epic tale of superheroes, but without moral conducts. Matter-of-factly gritty in a lot of ways and that makes it more compelling.

In a whole lot of ways this one brings it the worst in an autobiography as well as the worst in a boxer it seems). Durand brags, finds excuses and drops names at a staggering rate. He becomes a bit like a cartoon villain. Yet at the end there are some redeeming aspects, but they are few.

Fun, frantic and fabulous. These separate stories are a good mix of what makes up this character, and ones around.

Wotan, one out of two characters, expresses even the readers feelings when he, towards the end, points to the fact that there are too many words spoken about his subject and he doesn’t think anybody, including the reader, would be around anymore.
This is indeed WAY too many words to say what wants to be said. WAY too many words.

Dense, compact, narration that seeks answers and puts forward questions. A minimum of dialogue between characters but instead within, and in a sense, between consciousnesses.
Picture solutions, sound effects and so forth keeps the different segments into a suggestive order.

At the end you can distinguish a couple of plot lines, who ought to have been visible earlier. For the most part it is not so much a story as a diary combined with a recipe.
