I think i got really excited about this storyline, but it was very underwhelming. It's not a thriller, which is what I thought i was reading. I think a lot of the story was dragged on. It was just very underwhelming, and I didn't feel like any of the characters got a resultion. I feel like all the characters' stories were just cut short, and im wondering where the final chapters are to tie it all together.

Wow, another dystopian thriller, set in the same world as John Marrs' "the one" (my favourite of his books), "the passangers" and "the minders." The story that warns us of how our ever listening technology and overreaching government will be our downfall. I loved the different POVs and their different perspectives, from government worker to influencer, to the different representations of families. John Marrs really knows how to write and make you fall in love with a character, but also how to make you cringe when that characters story comes up! This is my 4th John Marrs book, and Im just in love with the stories he loves to weave together!

This book was really fun and action-packed! I liked how some chapters were present tense, and then we would get different alias's from the past! I loved the con girl story line, it was very creative! The story had me guessing who Mr Smith was, lol. It was a good read. I wanted to keep reading to see how it ended!

What a crazy thriller. Started slow, then picked up pace. I liked the short chapters, and you really get to know the characters. As the challenges progressed, I felt more fearful for the characters. I can see how Caz has PTSD at the end and doesn't really believe Petes explanations. And then the last sentence... Makes me think Pete was actually in on it. But i did enjoy the book as it picked up on its storyline lol. I wanted to know why this was happening!

Loved this short story! Janie is still twisted! It was very fun to see how the characters were doing years later!

I wanted to love this book, retro childrens tv show, whats not to love? I found it very confusing to follow. I couldn't tell when Val was in the present or dreaming or talking about the past? The narrative kind of blended together. The mixed media storytelling was fun. Still dont really understand the point of the i guess void? Not my fave thriller.

Wow! John Marrs does it again! I loved the different POV, the short chapters. I loved the sci-fi story lines, the technology that's just out out of reach to us. John makes you really care and feel invested in each characters lives. I loved the little connections to his previous books, "the one" and "the passengers." His writing is just amazing! John Marrs is my favourite author, and I can't wait to read the rest of his books!

This was a fun, quick read! Loved the twist, loved the Christmasy vibe! The monkey's hand made me think of the Simpsons Halloween special, where the Simpsons got three wishes!

Wow! This book was very addictive and twisted! The different POVs were very fun, especially hearing from the Killers POV. The killer could have been anyone! Literally, everyone had a motive and was connected. I guess who it was, but I did question my guess a lot! Each chapter was left on a cliffhanger, and I wanted to keep on going, I needed to find out what was happening with the characters and who the killer was! I really enjoyed this book. It hit all my check points! Dark, fast-paced, mulitple POVs, unreliable characters, uncomfortable plot, kept me guessing! Read it!
