Janice felt relatable, the story was interesting and I loved that there are funny bits thru it. I enjoyed her creativity with collecting the stories and entertaining herself with them. Loved the friendships and relationships she builds and strengthens thru out the book (my favorite relationship was with Mrs. B).  But the dog was my favorite character.

Walking the PCT is a fantasy I have, so I was really excited for this story, which was the reason for me starting this series. I liked how the expectations they had for the journey worked out for them but not how they had planned, which felt like real life. I liked the romance and I specially enjoyed that they both were able to find themselves and work on themselves separately, both growing and being better for them individually and not necessarily for the other. I hope to get another glance at them in the next book.

I am really enjoying this series, and Anita’s writing style.
