A.H. yet again SERVED with Joaquim. One things I truly appreciate from A.H. is that she handles certain topics and even just talking through relationship dynamics with such care. When
It was mentioned how Joaquim would freak out when they meet N.E Davenport, I think I might have squealed because if you didn't know, I loveeeed Blood Trials.

Anywayssss, Did I find the lactation kink hot? surprisingly yes, I was surprised myself lol Joaquim and Jon both remind me of every other dude that is trying to slide in (if you catch my drift) I kept dying at the <Spoiler> just the tip part.

The spice in this book made me blush. I kind of wish this book was a little longer so I can spend more time with Jon, Joaquim and Naveah lol

I love me a good mafia romance that is filled with revenge and tension and this book had definitely that which I enjoyed a lot but I feel like there were things that felt inconsistent.

I do love this series a lot but this book was just not it. We started off strong and then it took a turn for the worse. I'm so mad lowkey because I was looking forward to Lex and Raya's story.

Here's what I heavily disliked:
- Seriously, he pointed the gun to her head?
- Made Lex seem extremely toxic
- Raya's grandmother and Lex's grandmother's illness feels like a "plot filler"
- Chapters felt super choppy.

I am still going to read the last book and I'm ROOTING for my girl Sierra. I really hope that Catharina takes her time with Sierra and Xaviers story (I would be so heartbroken if it's like most last books in a series where it's so rushed and it looses that spark

This book convinced me that I now love monster office romances. Also, the SPICE was SPICING. It's hot in here.

I held off from reading Seven Days In June because a lot of my mutuals talked about how this broke their hearts but put it back together and I kept asking myself "Am I ready to endure this?" The answer today is yes.

Throughout this book, there's these layers that get pulled away, revealing the experiences that Shane and Eva had to endure during their childhoods. They both anchored one another and found safety in their arms even though their environment itself was not safe or healthy. As they reconnect you see that despite it all, the love they had for one another has never left. It remained as fierce as it was back then.

Audre is a star! I love that kid and she was the highlight of this book for me.

I did feel like the ending was rushed. I wish there was more of a build-up for the ending but regardless of anything it was still a beautiful story.
