This book was so entertaining! Emma inherits her grandparents’ farm but it also comes with secrets. She has to rely on Dan, the farm’s horticulturist, to learn how to run a farm and decide if she’s going to keep it.

The premise was so fun and gave such cozy small-town vibes. I found the family drama so interesting to read about, and I had a hard time putting the book down! The romance between Emma and Dan progressed so naturally, and I loved the strong female friendships. There were a few unclear time jumps that made me pause, but it didn’t detract from the story. Overall, it was a really cute and fun read!

I really loved this book! The entire cast of characters was so likeable. I related to Catherine instantly as someone who needs structure and organization. Luca is such a tattooed golden retriever that I loved him right away. But the true stars of the books were the elderly people living in Catherine’s building. It is a true community of good, kind humans ready to help however they can.

Catherine and Luca are drawn together to solve the mystery of Catherine’s missing identity. Even though they are total opposites, Catherine finds herself enjoying his presence and appreciating his charm and eagerness to help. I loved that the book was mostly focused on solving the mystery, and the love story slowly developed in the background. I was so invested in this book and didn’t want to put it down. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a sweet story with a touch of magical realism.

“All that matters in this life is that you try. All that matters is that you open your heart, give everything you have, and keep trying.”

Taylor Jenkins Reid ripped my heart out again 😭 This is the beautifully heartbreaking story of an unhappily married couple and what happens when they take a year apart.

The struggles Lauren and Ryan have in their marriage are so understandable and feel like they could happen to any married couple. Lauren has messy and conflicting emotions throughout the story as she tries to decide what she wants to do. I really enjoyed her exploration of family relationships as well, with her mother, sister, brother, and grandmother. Her story is compelling and honest as she works to decide what she wants for her own happily ever after. I highly recommend keeping your tissues nearby for this one!

This was much less of a romance than I was expecting and more of a woman’s self-discovery journey. I really enjoyed it! Helen is looking for a reset after her divorce and signs up for a guided wilderness trek. She is very surprised when her brother’s best friend, Jake, is on the same trek.

I loved the cast of characters on the trek with Helen. Each brought their own story, humor, and unique take on life. The adventure was so fun to read about and to learn alongside Helen. So much character development, feelings, and wisdom wrapped into the book.

I watched the Netflix movie right after finishing the book. Of course I liked the book better (so many more details and context for everything that happens), but I enjoyed the movie too. I felt like the movie had even less romance and chemistry than the book did, but it was an empowering take on a woman’s journey. I definitely recommend reading the book first and then checking out the movie afterwards if adaptations are your thing.

This book was so much fun! I absolutely love when the FMC is also an athlete in sports romances, and Arizona is a star softball player! She’s also such an outspoken and confident person who I adored reading about. Layton is Arizona’s brother’s best friend, and he happens to be a pro baseball player in the same town where Arizona just got drafted. Now their coaches are asking them to fake date to save the future of the pro softball team (and keep Layton from being traded).

Arizona and Layton had amazing chemistry and such a cute love story (with plenty of spice). The supporting characters, mostly teammates, were hilarious and now I want to read the other connected books. This was my first AK Landow book, and it definitely won’t be my last!

This is such a cute story filled with Christmas spirit! I loved reading about the fully decorated ski report and the Christmas themed team competition. It was so cozy and festive.

Charlotte and Hayden were so sweet together. He’s her brother’s best friend, so they’ve both been hiding their feelings for years. When they finally allow their feelings to show, it is clear that they are a match. There’s great banter, some spice, and cute gestures (he knows her coffee order…I love that microtrope!). The 3rd act conflict didn’t really work for me because it felt so out of character, but I really enjoyed this book anyway! I definitely recommend this book for anyone looking for a cute holiday romance filled with Christmas cheer!

Samiah’s jerk boyfriend has also been dating London and Taylor. A video of them all has gone viral and the three women become quick friends. I loved watching their friendship develop (and they each get their own book for their HEA, which I am so excited to read!).

Samiah meets Daniel at work and they instantly have a connection, but she has promised London and Taylor she would take a break from dating to work on herself. Daniel is charming and seems trustworthy…but he’s hiding something. I was so anxious about how it would all turn out even though I know it’s a romance and a guaranteed HEA. This was such a fun read and I’m excited to read the other two books in the series!

“Sometimes, what looks like bravery is just us being scared of something else even more.”

This is such a captivating and moving memoir. The author tells about her father’s long battle with cancer, her own journey dealing with loss and finding love, and her mother’s cancer diagnosis early in the pandemic. It is an exploration of grief and how it stays with you, shaping who you are and how you see the world. The writing is beautiful and honest, and Laurel Braitman’s words will stay with me for a long time to come.

I lived, laughed, loved this book (iykyk)! This is the 4th book in the Windy City series and features Isaiah (Kai’s brother) and Kennedy (a team trainer and Miller’s friend). This series is one of my favorites! This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the other books first (they are amazing and you’ll understand the side characters better)!

I wasn’t a huge Isaiah fan after reading Caught Up, but this book was quite a redemption arc! On the outside, he is a cocky, class clown athlete who will do anything for a laugh. He has been obsessed with Kennedy for years and is determined to show her who he really is…attentive, sweet, and caring. His chemistry with Kennedy is off the charts. I loved Kennedy’s storyline and her character growth throughout the book. It was a slow burn romance that was so swoony. I adored this book and can’t wait for Rio’s story next!

This book is perfect for this time of year! Witches for spooky season, but it’s set at Yule so there’s just a hint of Christmas vibes (but it’s really not a holiday book). Tamsyn (a human) and Bowen (a witch) are working together to solve a magical mystery, and they accidentally get sent back in time. There was a bit of insta-love that I wish was a little more drawn out, but these two have great banter. It was a quick, fun read and I recommend it if you’re looking for something cozy for the fall!
