This was my first book by Falon Ballard, and it was just the light-hearted romcom that I needed as a break between some heavier historical fiction books. The story follows Lana and Seth, former high-school sweethearts who had a disastrous breakup. Since the breakup, Lana is a serial monogamist and Seth bounces from hookup to hookup. When they end up as columnists at the same website, their boss puts them against each other in a competition: Lana must learn how to be single and Seth must learn how to be in a relationship.
While this book gives all the laughs and banter you expect in a romcom, it also dives into the personal development of Lana and Seth as well as Lana’s journey recognizing a toxic relationship in her life. Such a great read!

Dahlia and Julian were the perfect childhood friends to rivals to lovers! I loved their history, as well as their banter and romance. Both of their families were so fun and added additional chaos. And we got cameos of the characters from the Dreamland Billionaires series! Such a fun book and I'm excited for the next one in the series to find out what happens with the characters I have fallen in love with!
