I know absolutely nothing about Formula 1 and I was excited to read my first F1 romance! It was easy to follow because Lilah was also learning the rules of F1 through her documentary filming. I did get a little lost in the details at times, but the adrenaline of the actual races made it worth it.

I enjoyed Lilah’s character development as she went from someone who said yes to anything her ex suggested to someone who was starting to figure out what she liked on her own. I liked Arthur’s confidence that tended toward cockiness, but I wish the book had been dual POV because I don’t feel like I ever truly got to know him.

The romance was sweet, even though I didn’t fully understand the rationale for the fake dating. It was a slow burn for most of the book and I was so ready for them to admit their feelings, but then it strangely turned a little insta-love. Overall, I thought it was a fun read and would recommend it for anyone looking for a Formula 1 romance.

This book is such a fun combination of action/adventure and romance! Max receives a deal that will change her life: pretend to be her doppelgänger Prime Minister Sofia Christensen on an Italian vacation in exchange for a life-changing amount of money. Obviously, Max agrees and finds herself on the Amalfi Coast. The only problem (other than the assassins looking for Sofia) is that her handler is none other than Flynn, Max’s ex-boyfriend.

I loved the balance between fast-paced action and the second chance romance! This book was pure fun and such a unique take on the typical romance story. The audiobook is narrated by Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and was so entertaining! It felt like watching an action movie. With the vacation setting, quick pace, and steamy romance, this would be the perfect beach read this summer!

What an incredible book!! It is the fictional story of the first group of women astronauts in NASA. Taylor Jenkins Reid seamlessly blends the stories of the astronauts’ challenges as women, the science and protocols required by their missions, and the forbidden love story between Joan and Vanessa. The book alternates between two timelines—starting in the middle of a current mission that is heading toward disaster, and then jumping back to when these astronauts were first accepted into the program.

Before reading, I was worried there would be too many technical details, but I was pleasantly surprised. While the book is clearly thoroughly researched and contains plenty of details, the stories of the lives of the astronauts added a perfect balance. The love story between Joan and Vanessa was beautiful and heartbreaking and emotional. I couldn’t stop reading (or crying!) and I will think about this book for a long time to come. I highly recommend this book, but bring your tissues!

Note: So much of this book focuses on all aspects of pregnancy, as well as infertility and pregnancy loss. If this is triggering for you, this may be a book to skip 💕

Eve has an uncharacteristic one night stand resulting in an unplanned pregnancy. With the stress of the indecisive father-to-be and her tense relationship with her best friend Willow, Eve leans on Willow’s brother, Shep, for support.

Eve was a very relatable character. She was down to earth and had enough chaos in her life to feel so real. She definitely deserved someone to care for her like Shep did. Shep was the best, so down bad for Eve and able to give her the help she needed even when she didn’t know what to ask for. I loved the two of them together so much. There was a bit too much of the pregnancy journey for me (I know…I knew exactly what I was getting into when I picked up the book, but I felt like the balance was a little off and I wanted a little more of Eve and Shep). But even still, I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone looking for a very sweet friends-to-lovers romance!

I loved this book so much! Julia and JP hooked me right away with their undeniable chemistry when they met on an airplane. I could see from the beginning that they were perfect for each other, but there was still a whole book to read! Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t work out that time, and they spent the next five years in and out of each others’ lives. I was heartbroken every time their romance didn’t pan out, and I binged this book because I just had to find out what happened.

This story was beautifully written and I highly recommend it! It was my first Caitlin Moss book, and I am so excited to read more!

I loved everything about this book! Asher Bennett and his long-time boyfriend are set to be on an international travel competition reality show, The Epic Trek. His boyfriend dumps him at the airport on their way to filming so Asher needs to find a new partner. Luckily, pilot Theo Fernandez has been forced to take a vacation, and what better vacation to take than a travel reality show?

I loved the set-up for this book (although I did have to suspend some disbelief that the show would let the partner switch right before filming). The travel and competition gave such an exciting backdrop for the sweetest romance to develop. The chemistry between Asher and Theo was perfect! I also loved the addition of the other reality show contestants that rounded out the story. The book was funny and emotional and swoony!

This was my first Chip Pons book, and I absolutely loved the writing style. I highly recommend this romance! Thank you to Chip Pons, Putnam, and NetGalley for this e-ARC; all opinions are my own.

Javi and Mari have been platonic best friends since college. Now, Mari is engaged to a man who Javi knows is wrong for her, but she has asked Javi to be her Man of Honor. Now he has six weeks to convince Mari not to go through with the wedding.

I loved that this book was dual timeline. It gave so much context to Javi and Mari’s relationship in college and how they got to where they are now. Their friendship in college was so sweet and supportive. The whole time, they both had feelings for the other but neither acted on them out of respect. They were very much opposites—he was a closed book and introverted, while she was more bubbly and peppered him with questions until he broke each time. They really just fit together perfectly and were able to be completely themselves with each other. In the present timeline, Mari drove me kind of nuts, but I totally understood her motivations and reasoning. I loved watching the story play out and wondering how it would end. I definitely recommend this sweet friends-to-lovers romance!

Note: This book is not in the Bright Falls series, but Iris Kelly makes a few appearances and there are minor spoilers for Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date. I’d recommend reading that book before this one if it’s on your TBR.

This book was so fun! Ramona Riley has dreamed of being a costume designer but moved back home to help her father take care of her younger sister before achieving that goal. A movie is coming to her small town to film, and she hopes to make connections in the industry until she finds out that the movie star is Dylan Monroe, who was her first kiss long ago.

I loved the hint of a second chance with this romance. Ramona doesn’t know if Dylan remembers who she is (they used fake names as teenagers), which adds to the tension. The book had complex and interesting characters (including the secondary characters). I especially liked Ramona and the way she was grappling with what to do with her life and career. Ramona and Dylan had amazing chemistry, and I loved watching their relationship progress. There was lots of miscommunication in the book and the third act breakup was a little rough for me, but the ending was so sweet and totally redeemed it.

The audiobook was narrated by Gail Shalan, who narrated both voices and did an amazing job! This is a perfect sweet and spicy summer read!

I absolutely loved this book! The cast of characters was so unique, and I was hooked right away. Rockstar Ripp Harris impregnated three women in the span of 4 months. The women all moved to a compound together (without him!) and raised their girls as sisters. This book features Clemmie, one of Ripp’s now adult daughters. Clemmie and her sisters, Lil and Serena, had such an amazing relationship and were truly best friends. I loved their dynamic through the whole book.

Clemmie is down on her luck. She was cheated on, she lost her job, and now she’s about to lose her flat. Serena arranges a job for Clemmie that she doesn’t want but feels forced to accept—basically babysitting rockstar Theo Elliot for six weeks as he writes his new album.

Clemmie wants nothing to do with rockstars. Her dad let her down and her ex-boyfriend betrayed her trust to become a drummer for her dad. She has walls built up against Theo, and he slowly and surely broke them down. He was genuinely sweet and nothing like she expected him to be. Their friendship developed so naturally, and I loved their love story.

The audiobook is narrated by Ellie Heydon, and it was perfect. I definitely recommend this book, and I’m excited for Let’s Make a Scene featuring Theo’s ex and friend, Cynthie (releasing 7/1/25).
