Super cute book, found family done so so well! You really see the main character grow and learn about new things and a new world, in a super sweet and sometimes awkward way. This book feels like a warm hug. Can't wait to read the sequel in September!

It took me a bit to get used to the style of this book, but once I got used to it, I could not stop reading until I finished it. Learning through Leah what is going on at the deep sea mission, while knowing the aftermath through Miri created this tension that didn't go away until the very end.
