I love some good morally gray MMCs and a good "touch her and die" romance. Rowan and Sloane's banter...amazing like so amazing. Dark, chaotic, unhinged, twisted, addictive, and a super fun read. Absolutely a "dark romance" that felt so easy to fly through - like I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day and a half. Plus, I cannot lie, Rowan has my heart and had it instantaneously.

Also, I think that Sloane and Lark's friendship deserves the BIGGEST shout-out in the world. They felt so real and relatable and totally warmed my heart.

easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given a book. I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard…it was so easy to get invested in Frankie and just feel the most insane range of emotions for her. a devastating story that echos the devastating reality of what happened to so many people. (I am just grateful that she seemed to get that “happy ending” in those last couple paragraphs).
