These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan
Convoluted start that I just couldn’t get into. The actual writing was well done and it seemed like an interesting premise but just not my mood right now.

I LOVED this book.
The first left me a little wanting in the romance department but this one certainly picked up that slack from the first scene. It's super spicy and the best part is, Maniscalco was able to make many of those spicy scenes pull double duty with the plot as well.
Wrath is my new favorite book friend (sorry Rhysand, you ain't got nothing on the Demon King of Wrath). He's got a dark temper that rages just below the surface and lust that burns even more passionately for Emilia.
There were some scenes that seemed to drag a little and some of the action is broken up by inner monologue that we've already heard in other parts of the story. But overall, the story is fast paced, frantic, and red-hot!
