stormlightreader's Reviews (936)
This series has taken a nosedive after Kisscut! So disappointed.
First read: no review again (shocker!) but I remember really struggling with this book on my first read. (3*)
Re-read: The book felt a little slow to start but it picked up around the halfway point. I liked the personal predicament(s) Reacher was presented with. He is reunited with his mentor's daughter, following the death of his mentor and inherits a house! If you've read any Reacher book, you understand the significance of this! I know it's a bit cliché that Reacher can solve any problem he encounters but I can easily look past it, since I enjoy this series so much. Reacher is a comfort character for me and even the worst books in the series have some nugget of information about Reacher that makes him an even more interesting character. (3.5*)
