Who is the queen of cliffhangers? This author is!

For one, there are so many different POVs! So many! If there's a character you wish you could read the POV of, it's probably in this book.

For two, just as things are getting really really really good and you're dying to know what comes next, guess what? Yep, the chapter ends and the next chapter is someone else's POV! Don't worry, you'll return to that character soon. But meanwhile, you'll be with another character somewhere else and get left hanging there too.

For three, by the time you get to this Blooming brilliant fourth book, there are so many unanswered questions, things hanging in the balance. Well, in this final installment, that's all gonna come crashing down!

For four, this book is long, it's chunky! I love the chunky ones. Over 450 pages. But that also means a whole lot of reading time to wait and watch the mysteries unfold, the secrets told, and more twists and surprises than I could count.

I'm a huge fan of Megan Montero. I love all of her books. This one is no exception. You've got to read everything of hers!

I really liked this book. The dynamic between Dimi and Shadow and then those between Shadow and Vila is clearly explained. There are expectations for everyone and clearly defined roles.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Niko and Katerina both have known they were the other's soul mate since childhood. Yet neither confessed because it is forbidden otherwise the prophesy will come true.

This book is perfect for fans of Sarah J Maas!

This is the second TC book I've read. To fully enjoy the story, the readers must immerse themselves in TC's world. The author develops her own terms and language, her own rules. It can be confusing at times. This one for example uses terms like dawn and dusk instead of morning and night. She even uses duskgown instead of nightgown, duskmare instead of nightmare etc. There are turns instead of days. I found it exciting and pleasantly different.

The characters are complex, likeable or destestable depending on their role. There is witty banter, love interests, lies and betrayal. I really enjoyed this story.

I've been meaning to read this since watching the movie. I was hoping for more insight into Snow's motivations and the meanings surrounding things. I suppose it did help to supplement the movie somewhat. But I still question things. The book is ok. It's dry. The movie events include everything.

Such a unique story set in a unique world. We discover some surprising secrets while others become obvious. I like the Tru belief system - the water is everything and Gua provides. The Crylia species and structure is interesting. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Angels and demons and reapers, OH my!

I loved this book! I loved the whole series.

This picks up right where book 2 left off. It took a bit to settle in and remember everything but once I did, I was on the edge of my seat! 2/3 of the way through I started thinking there's no way this is the last book in the series. There were so many unknowns and unanswered questions. Yet everything comes together quite nicely. Some of the twists will just blow your mind! Highly recommend reading the whole series! Incredible debut.
