Another one that I was reading for a book club I'm now not going to make it to, and wasn't enjoying enough to finish without that motivator. I found the prose pretty stilted.

didn't finish in time for book club and wasn't enjoying enough to keep going. it's definitely very well-written but as of 100 pages in was still sort of lacking conflict for all but one of the characters, which makes it easy to put down and not pick back up
