miscommunication trope is awful. Teenage dialogue is cringe as fuck. The whole parents with issues, addictions and gambling was weird and trying too hard, but came across as basic and not complex back story it was trying to get. Characters are annoying af. Don’t know what happened here because I enjoyed ice breaker
