I didn’t think I’d ever finish this book. The biggest reason I stuck it out is that I still care about these characters, however, this was 900+ pages of so much exposition I’m surprised the editor(s) let it pass. I called the ending immediately. I’m still dumbfounded that NOTHING HAPPENED in 900+ pages and what DID happen left me feeling meh.

There are some unresolved storylines, which is annoying as a reader. Overall, it’s a great story on friendship.
