I think this is the first short story anthology I've read where everything is good. Some stories I liked more than others, but every single one left me thinking either "wow" or "damn" depending on how heavy it was.
Not all of the stories have a reason or moral. In fact I'd say the prevailing theme in the book is just to establish the vibe of something wrong, or weird, something out of place that has you on the edge of your seat as you read and find out if that wrongness will end terribly or just have you pensive. Though each story is short, they all felt very fleshed out, and the prose was fantastic; everything wrong/weird/etc. felt extremely real and plausible in that moment, for that particular world the author created. And who knows, maybe it's even plausible in the future.
