I found this book gripping and intriguing. There are a lot of trigger warnings so need to be looked at before being read. I love Marisa Noelle's writing style and this book didn't disappoint with regards to that. I found that I had already twigged on the answers to some questions/twists which meant I didn't get as excited when they were revealed. Some things were left unsaid and left mystery to the book. Loved how the book ended wrapped up well.

<spoiler? Wow this book was amazing. At first I did struggle a little with the native american language that was promenient at the beginning and is throughout the book but I got past that. This is not just a story about drugs it is about native american culture as well. I love Daunis and being a strong female main character throughout the book. I love her relationship with Jamie a forbidden love. I wish things had turned out better for them but I would think they would get back together in the future with how it was left. There is a scene of sexual assault but not too much depth goes into it. So many twists I did not see coming which left me wanting more. A lot of information but I really enjoyed that. Captivating and enjoyable read. Loved it.

This was so different reading as an adult & a mum. I remember Miss Trunchball being mean butisaw her has a horrible, violent and bullying brut. And I would do something about it as a parent. Words that Roald Dahl used I found funny and remember laughing at it has a child. I love Matilda, so brave, curious, and amazing, little girl. Brought back memories. I can see why my kids don't want to read it.

This book had 3 short stories. As by the title, each one had something to do with lips. I wasn't sure at first has I didn't enjoy the first short story. This one was about wanting and goblins. I just wasn't in love with the story, and it ended quite abruptly. I wasn't sure what happened. I would have liked to know what had happened after the kiss. However, the second and third were far more enjoyable and ended better, in my opinion. The second one was about souls and curses, and I enjoyed this one the most. The third one was sort of similar but in a different context . Very quick reads and fast-paced. Each story is about young girls.

I was recommended this book & so glad I was. I found the world building so immersive. The storyline was creative & I haven't read anything like it before the characters Charlie & Sam are enjoyable to read. It was nice to read that different types of ghosts & that they are not all the same. The story is lined with pain& trauma, but it is written beautifully that it doesn't feel like that when reading it. I would read this again. Also, how it ends there could be a sequel but further in the future as Sam & Charlie are teenagers.

I found this book gripping and captivating. However I did find it quite gory in places and some of the layouts I found confusing. Also it got a bit confusing when it fletted back from different POVs as was sudden. Enjoyable read and the characters were enjoyable to read. Immersion World building and amazing story.

Such a light-hearted read. Nanette and Ryon are such a cute couple. Stories and magic are forbidden and a rebellion trying to happen. Fast paced and a little rushed in places but other times medium paced. Would of loved more from it but found such a cute read.

This book is from 2 pov's, Ruth + Adam however mainly from Adam's. I found the story confusing & I couldn't quite understand how it all came about. Some parts were gripping but there wasn't anything that wowed me. It was a good read.

Wow, what a book. Kept me gripped from start, middle and end. Alot of suspense and thrilling. What Chaimaka and Devon are put through no one should be subjected to. Racism is at the fore front of this bookand it is eye opening. An amazing read.
