I am a big fan of Beastars’ world building so getting little stories around it to add complexity and depth to it along with easter eggs about the main series… was exactly what I needed

That’s it, I have given up and with only 60 pages left to finish it, I am ready to put it into my “to sell thru ziffit/to donate” pile.

This book was simply not my style, I see why the TV show did so well but I’m afraid that not only being from the start something that I generally roll my eyes out, the repetitive and shallow waffling made me honestly not give a flying fuck about any character.

To quote another review I saw on here…
“There’s so much crammed into this book but it all adds up to so little”

Also wtf is writers obsessions of using babies as a huge shock factor?

Love the way it is written and it started very strong bur as I reached the end of it, sometimes the abstraction was a bit of a struggle for me. Aside of that, it is a fantastic piece and heavily recommend it

Would give it 5 stars but worry that it would make me a sociopath.

Physically could not put it down and caught myself saying “how can it get worse” as I read.

Trigger warn this book to shit

Quite an emotional read, with many things to teach but also enough to relate to or at least sympathise. This being a graphic novel also made it very accesible for someone unfamiliar with many terms and Iran itself. Look forward to watching the film.
