Surrealist humour with some real laugh-out-loud moments, but I wasn't a huge fan of having to flip back and forth to the appendix so often, particularly at the start of the book.
James Swain is the kind of writer who seemingly never heard the phrase "show, don't tell" or at least ignored it as every little thing is explained, from the apps on Lancaster's phone, to Daniels' obvious motives. Surprisingly gripping for something so clichéd and littered with exposition.
