There’s no redeeming qualities to Dorian but it’s great anyway. I love how flawed he is and how even at the end he doesn’t go back in his believes, life is just not beautiful enough anymore. Great red for anyone, would recommend to 20-something-year-olds.

A must read. Such an impactful read for women of any age, no metter your relationship with your parents. McCurdy brings light on many issues young women feel in their most formative years, relationship we build with others, how we perceive our self’s and how we overcome trauma. It left me feeling seen and understood.

The beginning was not really anything to talk about. However, the last fifty pages were a total 360. I’m not sure yet if the ending being circular and tying whit the beginning is good and therapeutic for the characters yet ironic or it’s just the author getting bored of her creation … it’s more about the husband than anything

Great story, i really enjoyed the different POVs but they should have sticked to just Franks, Cleo, Eleanor and the danish guys story because Santiago’s and Quentin’s and Zoe’s stories don’t have much to do whit the main plot and take focus from it. Which there was more about Eleanor and Frank, kinda felt like Cleo was a hypocrite and had lots of unresolved issues that she hoped the men in her life would somehow resolve. Overall really nice, the beginning was meh but then it got better, great read for young people.
