i LOVE these types of books except the shit w his mom and sister is fucked up especially bcuz i had just finished reading the reader which is also abt
sexual relations btwn a young boy and an older lady

idk the buildup to when she finally talked could’ve been better executed imo but other than that… very good very captivating very shocking. also the way the themes of the book (like greek mythology, the weather, etc.) were placed and mentioned reminded me of some of the classics from like the 17-20th centuries, which i enjoyed bcuz books just don’t seem to do that anymore.
