i first read this series like 5 years ago, but i decided to reread it when i heard they were making a netflix adaptation. didn’t expect to finish all 3 books in 48 hours, but i did. and it left me feeling so alone. lol. bcuz of this, i no longer read romance novels. i do not want to cry and suffer.

big fan of the hunger games and suzanne collins and this book didn’t disappoint. i’m ashamed to admit that i had to remind myself a few times that Snow is the bad guy, but i guess that just means that Collins is a good writer ?? idrk. anyways the ending was pretty unhinged lol i thoroughly enjoyed it.
