This is a bit better when it comes to pacing compared to the first book, and i believe it deals with the political side of warfare even more. I am once again sprinting to read the next book.

At first i kinda had a bunch of irks with the writing (redundant emphasis on size diff, narration going on annoying tangents mid-scene… etc) but i stuck with it and im glad i did, this was a fun book!

Giving this book five stars because it’s such a light uplifting read! I love how the characters are fleshed out and the world building as well. I can see myself picking up the other books in the series.

This book made me laugh out loud and squeal so many times! I wish the vampirism was explored a little more tho, but i really enjoyed this book nevertheless
