Im one of those people that likes reading a very specific writing style, and this is not it. I love the premise and recommend it to anyone looking for a quick read, but I feel like the writing is pretty jumbled up and hard to make sense of at times.

THAT ENDING THOUGH!! i guessed it about 70% through but still loved the way this played out.

My Husband’s Fiancée is a quick and easy read, which i always love. That does not mean, though, that it is easy emotionally. This book deals with a lot of talk about trauma and post-partum depression.

i picked this book up and couldnt put it back down. The writing is beautiful and that makes it so you can get lost in the story super easy. I love books that you can speed through, yet still understand. the only thing that fell flat for me was Poppy’s character- they felt very 2D to me.

i really liked this book for the most part.

the pacing of this book was amazing, and i LOVED the magic system and world building, even the characters were interesting and felt fully fledged out. My one main issue here, (hear  me out!) i think, is that all the MCs seemed to think of was sex, and (without spoiling too much) for how little action they actually received in this book, it just didnt feel right to me lol.
