It’s a good book, I like coming of age stories that are more realistic than happy go lucky. It’s a book that makes you feel like you are experiencing the main characters life - because it’s so honest in its telling of life. Not for those who have a low attention span, very slow and drawn out read. Also not for those who need a conclusive end that makes you feel good.

Main character is absolutely nuts, but in a funny way. This book made me laugh, cringe, gasp, and I had a hard time putting in down.

It’s not a bad story, I like historical fiction - however, halfway through I guessed how the story was going. The ending left me unsatisfied.
