this was one wild ride!! honestly i don't understand if *i* have outgrown YA, or maybe i am taking too long to finish a book or it's these books, but there are something i find missing in them like they're sooo close yet they miss the mark (for me). but flf really had me on edge for the most part and once it picked up pace it was a really fun read!! i loved all the characters and their arcs, all the twists were really fun but sometimes hard to keep track because of the number shdjdjd but anyway, i read it for fun and a good time, and i got that from this book!!

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with an e-arc of this book! I finished this poetry book today and it was so good!! I'm usually always icky with new poetry collections and arcs because i end up not liking them but this one was really good. some of these poems are highlights in my kindle and i really loved the way the poet's style in some of these poems. it was the right poetry style for me and i'm so glad i got a chance to review it before the release!!

i am just so conflicted about this book. like as a critical reader, it's a really good character study of people, their relationships and how they interact with each other, but as a novel i don't really think it worked out for me. i really wanted to love it but i just felt it was a drag, idk if it's the book or me, and i didn't even get attached to the characters to really like the book enough. i would love to study it and analyse how they are written and why the author has this distinct style of writing, but overall, it didn't really work for me like it did for so many other people

Honestly, this book was... bad. I don't know where to begin, but the lines written in the name of poetry literally seemed like a tweet compilation and the poems seemed so childish. Maybe others liked it but I personally don't see these lines as poems at all, and I really wish people can actually write something well instead of pasting broken paragraphs with a doodle at the end and call it a day. Please stop.

 EMILY HENRY NEVER MISSES!!!!

I adored this book SO MCUHHHH!! it had everything i asked for and more, and dare I say that with each book, emily henry just keeps increasing romance books standards for me. her characters have this amazing, human traits that are unique to each and we see them grow as a person, as well as with each other, and even though I did predict the resolution at the end, the book was very much enjoyable and made me tear up because of how beautifully she writes her flawed characters and their developments, it's a delight to read about them, she's definitely an auto buy author now and i can't stress enough about how much i love this book and all of her other books!! 💖💖

honestly gonna leave this unrated bc like?? is emily dickinson a genius? absolutely!! but this fell short to me because i do think these poems were never intended to be complete poems for publishing, i really appreciate the publishers who put this together, and I'm always in awe of Dickinson, but this collection didn't really give what i wanted.
