This book was beautifully written and painted a realistic picture of the suffering Alzheimer's patients and the members of their support system go through. But the author paints a more complete picture of the main character and the way her personality and life changes while she still retains some of her identity and quality of life.

This book was a pretty amazing, quick, uplifting read. It's well-written and if you believe in Heaven you will believe more strongly than you had before.

These books are fairly consistent in their quality and story lines and I am fan of the characters in the Monk books. `However, I am usually ready for these to be done about 50 pages before they are. But I will probably read the next one in the series to see how Monk and Hester finally get together.

This book was pretty good. It was beautifully written and there was a cliffhanger at the end. It stalled out a little at the end which is why I gave it four stars. It was only 266 pages but it felt like 366.

Anyway, it was a good reminder during the holiday times of extreme excess that not everyone goes to bed at night feeling safe and relatively at peace. Good lesson - again.
