I loved this book from start to finish. I read it a while ago and am just due to meet someone who's actually modelling their house around this book and its rooms, so I thought I'd better refresh my memory. I'm a real fan of this sort of maniacal magic story telling, where nothing is it as seems. The story of Tom and Del and Rose is so interwoven with treachery and teenage angst. I found the one sexy scene in the book, where Rosa reaches into Tom's trousers and gives him relief from the sexual urges he has, without him really even knowing what's happening, to be highly erotic and really well written. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone with the same tastes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Kellyann has written a book about a subject she obviously knows well as her knowledge and passion shine through on every page. Bethany is a very credible heroine, feisty and independent, as she gets drawn into a web of intrigue and her past history with a very mysterious ancient culture. Meeting the past love of her life, Zubis, who is, I have to say, an incredible sexy but fairly autocratic jinn, turns the world she knew on its head and opens her eyes to a world full of mystery and double crossing.
I look forward to Kellyann's next chapter in the Zubis Chronicles and will definitely be reading it!

I LOVED this book. It deserves more than 5 stars. So much so that I now intend reading everything Harper's ever written.

I really felt for the characters of Nichol,a man of the land and the farm and Cam, a fugitive from the city, as they started out on their rather moving journey to becoming lovers and soul mates. The scenery and the world of Arran, the farm, the wonderful evocative descriptions of an almost magical place- I can't express how much I enjoyed it.

I had to chuckle when poor Cam, a town boy, thought the lamb in the barn was trying to eat him. So cute.

A-chaoidh -Forever - the byword of the book as these two men come to terms with their relationship, try and put the dangers and darkness of the past behind them and deal with personal tragedies - it left me wanting more. I'd love to hear another story about Nichol Seacliff and Cameron Vaughan - even though Cameron would rather be a Seacliff. His real name brings back bad memories.

I enjoyed the sex scenes which were warm and loving (and hot!) but not gratuitous as seems to happen sometimes in this genre.

I can't recommend this book enough. I'll read it again and again and each time I'll probably find something I might have missed that gives me that warm, fuzzy feeling as Nichol and Cam's relationship develops.
