Cute! But there's not much a mid-series spinoff comic to a show can add to the canon.

It just didn't work for me. It felt like it was both written and illustrated by people new to graphic novels - which isn't true, but it still had some amateur mistakes. The dialogue was often oddly stilted. It tried too hard to be a modern character-based book when it was too stuck in the odd melancholy format of a fairytale to succeed at that. It was fine I guess.

I loved the Greenmantles. I didn't love Gwenllian as much.

I know it's too early to pick a favorite book out of this cycle, but I really love Ronan, and I really love how much of him was in this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I can't even particularly say why. It was absorbing, atmospheric, and emotional.
