The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

Did not finish book. Stopped at 96%.
I have heard so much about this book before I finally came around to pick it up - it felt like I already knew what was going to happen. The narration likes to get lost in the little moments of the story, which I usually absolutely adore, but it happened so often that in the end I got sick of it.
Donna Tartt is neverthelesse an incredible writer and her beautiful way of bringing Theo Decker's melancholic thoughts into words were my main reason for making it this far.
