guys........ i can't believe that i fell in love with this book. honestly, i was so shocked. i was expecting to drag myself through it, but Isabella and Kai threw me for a loop! their chemistry was UNMATCHED. i swear, some of Isabella's thoughts/words came straight from my journal, like WOW.

look y'all....... i've never given a monster romance (besides Bride) a five star and yet.... Lillian Lark deserves it the most. another throuple where EVERYONE falls in love and everyone has a come to jesus moment. Ben, the demon, who falls in love with the DEVIL?!?!!??! Stelle FINALLY got both of her men on the same page with her?!?!?!? Also Stella stepping into her leadership abilities was so cool.

carley fortune came out SWINGING on me! first of all, very similar vibes to Book Lovers by EmHen and i sobbed at the ending of that book. loved how much fun Lucy and Felix have together and how much of their friendship shines through their romance, time and time again. also, kinda shocked that lucy wasn't more pissed at bridget (felix's sister) for
rekindling her friendship with Joy without telling Lucy, becuase the last time they saw Joy, bridget made lucy and her leave the party early because she couldn't even be in the same room as her!
i'm glad lucy got the ending that she did. i loved it and it felt very human and real. good for her!

I enjoyed it! Halle was a super fun character to watch (at times a little too eldest daughter tropey) grow into herself and have fun in her own life. i really thought we were gonna get Henry some sort of neurodivergent diagnosis because he showed so many symptoms of one, but alas. maybe she has answered that question somewhere else.

even with this book being spread out over the span of eight-ish years, it felt like it was 50 pages too long by the end. it was frustrating to see our main characters fall into their self-sabotage multiple times in a row with each other, but in the same vein, they were very human and flawed people, which made them easier to relate to.

okay this book was more confusing in a good and a bad way?
because we got to find out that she IS actually from fae background and her mother WAS(maybe still alive) the queen of the fae realm and she has powers to create bows and arrows and thorns? we see rosie and ezryn FINALLY mate, ezryn kinda losing his shit but it works for everyone? MORE caspian and his weird underworld plans that maybe also include rosie's mother????
had fun! i really thought it was a four book series and the next one was the finale, and now i found out that it is going to be a five book series! help me jesus!
