i gave this a 3 on goodreads but it really is like a 2.75. this is my least favorite of this series i just had so many qualms with everyone and the decisions they made. it was a frustrating read with some laughs here and there. Im glad this one is over too but i did like breaking dawn better than this one which to me says a lot considering we have the introduction of remote control as the baby. Heres my  goodreads review: "this one just so wasn’t fun. i’m team therapy and those 3 going no contact with one another"

Four years of struggling to finish this book. The stories were pretty compelling and sparked an interest in me that resulted in my personal college essay. I annotated the entire thing and I'm pretty proud of myself for keeping with it cause I wanted to give up and just read the book like a normal person. ovid has a way with words, and it was nice reading some stories that I had already read in Greek and Latin. made it more fun for me. The book was very slow and very dense but again interesting and fun.

Once again, Rebecca wrote a fantastic story, and I ate it up. I thought the premise of this book was really interesting, and when I saw her for her book tour of this book, I was even more eager to start it. It was a funny and crazy read, as the main character is the bad guy. The commentary on everything was great, but I wish she had delved deeper into it, but I understand if that had happened, this book would've been as long as Babel. Sometimes it seemed like she didn't think the reader could connect the dots, so a lot was overexplained. But I still enjoyed myself while reading, and the story was great, so it'll be a 5-star for me.

ya know, I had to look at my previous review of Ninth House to talk about Hellbent. I said very little. However, the rating went up for this book, and that's cause I really liked it. I finished it within hours spread over a night. Alex is slowly becoming a character that I really enjoy. Her and Tripp <3. anyways I wonder what is in store for the third book, but I'm glad I didn't rush to start this after I had finished Ninth House. I would not have been able to handle that.

The movie is my favorite out of all of them, but the book felt so slow and a tad boring. It dragged for me, and maybe that was the point to help aid the plot line of Bella being very depressed. The relationship between Bella and Jacob is explored a lot more in this book, and I feel bad for Jake. But at the same time, why does he not understand boundaries and people's decisions? Anywho this took me longer to read for some reason compared to the first book, but I still liked it. Just a little slow again.

please this book was crazy. As someone who grew up on the movies and was a die-hard fan, I'm surprised it took me this long to pick up the books. I'm gonna be so honest. This was a fun and fast read. Maybe its cause I'm just now getting out of a reading slump, but this is feeding everything I need right now. The characters actually have personalities that are very different from the movie. This is definitely a YA book. The writing and pace give that away. But it's not a bad thing. Overall, I had fun, and I appreciate the book for doing that for me.

I loved this book, it's just a shame that there are some questionable things the author has said. I thought it was very insightful, and the discussion around race as a non-american was very entertaining to read and pretty interesting. I do think more people should read this, and I can totally understand why it is such a popular book. I read this for my race final and had to dissect the book and its themes, but that honestly made me appreciate it even more. I do think the romance was kinda thrown in there for just something else to talk about, especially at the end. I could believe that they were in love in their younger years, but not by the time they were adults. highly recommend this book i loved it.
