my attention was not grabbed, unfortunately. idk it felt a lil TOO much like the hunger games, which it seems like that was a big selling point for the book , but it felt like when you copy off of someone’s homework and just reword a few things so it’s not exact.

I don’t really have any notes regarding the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was an easy read. Initially, I thought the whole “oh I actually love my best friend and by the way you have to move out and uhhh we’re getting married” thing was fast-paced… I had whiplash lol… but it was used as a tool to help drive the plot, so I didn’t mind it. Shout out to Daphne’s mom tbh, she’s the real mvp.
