I enjoyed this book a lot but since I read it in the tandem read with TOD it took me SO LONG to get through! I do think that it could've been a lot shorter (the german translation was 170 pages longer than the english one) and at some points I felt discouraged to get through it.

I thought that the ending was really well played out and it made me feel a lot of things.

Also can we just talk about Lorcan and Elide? I ship them SO HARD!

I really enjoyed this and found myself entertained, the story wasn't really realistic or perfect by any means but it was still really good

Otherwise tho I didn't feel Ryan and Evie AT ALL XD

All in all this wasn't bad and I liked majority of it, nonetheless I didn't feel the said romantic feelings and chemistry between Olive and Ethan at all, it got told but never shown
Also I haaaaated the third act break up and also didn't like the turn it took :( I feel like the premise had big potential but the execution lacked

The first half was great, the second one sadly got really boring and now I understand why everybody's saying that they hated the end :D

Also I just wanna point out that I listened to this as an audiobook and the listening time was !!35 hours!!! I just wanted to cry at one point :)))

This book gave me everything I wanted 😭

I know there was hella smut in here but I can‘t say that I‘m complaining about it..
I loved reading about Nessa and Cassian so much more than reading about Feyre and Rhys, their love for each other is just developing but already feels huge.

Nesta‘s path was just so heartwrenching but still beautiful to see and her with Emerie and Gwyn! Perfect 😩🤌🏼

This was so relatable and heartwrenching but hopeful at the same time! A read, that everyone should have read at least once in their life.

I cried a whole lot but also felt so many other emotions at the same time!

This wasn‘t bad, just really unnecessary and boring.
Sadly didn‘t get the cozy vibes at all, got annoyed with the characters.
The german translation had about 320ish pages, for what?

I really don't know how to feel about this book if I'm honest.

In the beginning I was all here for it, I was really excited to get to know their story and this whole book that everybody loves. Have to admit that I'm feeling really disappointed.

I didn't feel the connection to the main characters AT ALL, I felt they were shallow and boring. I had to force myself not to dnf this book a million times.
The story had so much potential imo but ended up not being better than just okay.
I feel like in the "then" chapters it took them forever to get close and to finally tell each other that they're in love with each other but in the "now" chapters we barely got anything.

2.5 seems like a generous rating to me.

The banter was not exaggerated at all and I think Wes was an awesome book boyfriend. 😩🤌🏼
Sometimes the “I’m so quirky and totally not like other girls” got a little too try hard but otherwise I also enjoyed Liz as a main character.

I just wish that the kiss kind of built up a little more since it kinda happened out of nowhere and Liz just suddenly was like hm, I actually am into him! 🤡

Since this book was only 350 pages long the story didn’t go as deep as I wished for. We got to know the main characters really well, sadly not the side characters, it was still fine tho.
I really liked the music references that were thrown in since I could go and listen to them while reading the matching scene.

All in all I had a great time tho and found myself laughing and getting excited about the story further developing. 😌
