I enjoyed the insight into what a GP's day looks like and how a GP surgery works. However the humour felt forced and was unimaginative at best. The book also suffered from repeated, nauseating prattle about how much he loves his wife and son. Though his affection for them did affect his work as a GP, it did not need to be as abundant nor as sickening.
