- Brothers best friend
- One night stand in the past turned enemies to lovers
- Forced to go on a road trip to honor her deceased brothers last wish.
- Maddie and Dom. Maddie was serrrrrioisly going too hard with being a bitter biatch
- I almost DNFd st the 60% mark. I could not just get on board with the romance between Maddie and Dom. She was just so rude and mean for more than 50% of the book I couldn’t imagine Dom ever wanting to be with her.

- ⭐️⭐️💫🌶️🌶️
- True crime podcaster Ben Owen’s brings up a case from five years ago on his podcast Listen for the Lie where he uncovers all the lies people tell and find the truth - where a girl named Savannah was murdered and they haven’t found the murderer but the prime suspect was her best friend Lucy. Lucy was supposedly the last person seen with Savannah and cannot remember the night her friend died but there are a lot of incriminating things against Lucy.
- This is a mystery thriller with short chapters that alternate between Lucy’s POV and podcast transcripts. There’s also a funny meddling alcoholic grandmother.
- This book made me uncomfortable and it had less to do about the unsolved murder but with the family. So much cheating, lies, deceit. It was just painfully pitiful.
- I did enjoy the ending though.

* Lenny and Miles. Wow. The dedication page really sets the tone for this book.
* This story is so powerful. The writing is so relatable - funny without being crass. Funny with being extremely mindful of the pain Lenny is feeling with loosing someone who was her second half.
* The patience, tender loving, effervescent Miles is a godsend to readers everywhere. Seeing them both overcome things together with so much love makes me always swoon.
* I wish there was more to the ending. So much more. If there was just a couple more chapters really wrapping everything up I would have rated this five stars.
Thank you so much to the author, publisher and NetGalley for providing me a gifted copy of this eARC.

People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

- ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫🌶️🌶️
- Poppy and Alex were best friends since college. They would go on vacations together until one vacation ended up being their last and they haven’t spoken for two years.
- First off, the issue of why they stopped talking for two years was not that huge of a deal. If people who “love” eachother so much can just stop talking for years how much love is there really?
- Just like every Emily Henry book the deep connection she is able to express through words between the main characters is such a flex. I feel like these two characters are the best of friends and have such a deep thread connecting them. Though all of her books are like this. Alex was definitely the winner of this book. How devoted he was.
- Can’t wait to see how this turns out in the movies.
