An epic ending to a phenomenal series. I did not want to leave this world or the characters that I got to know along the way. The world building, the politics, all of it. Very well done Jordan (and Sanderson). I will come back.

I just love everything that I've read by TJ Klune. The emotional roller-coaster that the author always brings me to. This was beautiful. Klune writes characters as well as their development and relationships in such a convincing way. The story is lovely and the themes of death is handled well.

Re-reading some of my childhood favourites and this one still holds. I love the concept of this book and how it highlights the morbidity of humankind. It is well-written and kept me engaged throughout. It also had an emotional effect on me, of course.

To me, this book was very average and okay. I really liked some parts while others just annoyed me. I did not love the characters and it was predictable, which pure romance tend to be. I was not emotionally invested. The writing is quite good as well as the themes discussed.

I very much enjoyed this book. I know that a lot of people have a hard time getting into it and getting to know the characters. However, the politics and the world building in this book is amazing. I think this book really sets up for an interesting series and I am beyond excited for reading book two.

Fonda Lee's writing is phenomenal.

This is a very entertaining book series. The writing could be better and both character and enviromental descriptions have some potential for improvements. This is not a book Id read for the literature aspects. Its just fun, engaging and easy to follow. Almost like watching reality TV, you know the production and stuff wont be amazing, but still you get hooked.

I was not a fan. Not my vibe at all and I had a hard time getting through it. I felt nothing.
