The story was paced very well and enjoyable. I didn’t find the characters all that likes me but I didn’t feel like I was necessarily supposed to like them. Very well written and kept me interested. 

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara

Beautifully written and narrated. The story was hard for me to get though and took me about 7 months to listen to on and off because of breaks needed due to the traumatic aspects of the story.

Incredible world building and relationship development between characters. The pacing of the story was well written and I didn’t feel bored. The story is a refreshing new take on gods/astrology and a fun adventure.

This rating is for a reread of this book. It was fun to go back and see some plot points I hadn’t known about during the first read. It’s great book that sets up this world? Though it is pretty slow until maybe the last third of the book.
