Another win for Ms. Cox! I loved this small town, spicy 🌶️, spicy 🌶️ masterpiece. Again the characters delighted and enchanted me. The storytelling was amazing. I’m dying to know who will be next in this series.

For a book to make me laugh, and cry ugly tears it has to be an excellent book. I wish I could give it more than five stars because the characters are ingrained into my heart and I can’t wait to find out what’s gonna happen in book 2. The children in the story were absolutely hilarious, and I have never laughed so hard in my life. And the emotions that the author has evoked has just blown me away.

Keeley and Oliver are a great pair. I recommend this sexy rom-com to anyone who is interested in excellent character development, steam and wit.

What a delightful book. I laughed, I nearly cried, and now I’m going to miss my two new best friends. Dani Elias is an excellent author and sees to the very heart of the deepest wounds and works towards healing them in us through her characters.

It’s so nice to be back with Diana, Matthew and the others. Finally my family has returned to me. Great storyline, characters and suspense. Welcome home, Diana.

I was so happy to read another Cathy Yardley book. Her characters are diverse and easy to love. I appreciate the characters are more my age than some of the other books I've been reading lately. And I loved it when Willa tore into the Uncle about the lock and key (you have to read to find out what I mean). I mean, men... don't mess with a strong Asian woman who isn't afraid to put you in your place. Way to go, Cathy, you've done well.

While this book took quite a while for me to get into it, I found myself rooting for the characters to reach that happily ever after. The characters were well thought out, and I wanted to browbeat her mother and her not so much a "fiance" since he was a pompous ass.

This book surprised me at every turn. The hero is man 'x', no, the hero is man 'y', no, the hero is man 'z'. Then I did the same thing in regard to who the bad guy was. And then to top it all off there is steam, there is history, there are legends. What more could you ask for?

Proof positive that you should NEVER judge a book solely by its cover. I was expecting something lighter, but instead I got depth and layers in the engaging romantic suspense book. I loved the FMC so much because she was so strong under all the adversary she was under. Thank you Ms. Uhl for a wonderfully complex book. I hope to read book two (if the last chapter odds any indication on what we’ll get next.
