I hate books where the plot is "everyone is lying to each other and secrets must be uncovered!" but there's usually the satisfaction of secrets revealed. this book chose not to reveal anything and it made for a very annoying experience lol

ugh. the MC was awful, and i loved irene so much. Would've enjoyed reading this book if the MC was even the slightest bit more likeable. But she was terrible, mean, and arrogant, and I didn't really care much for her character development arc because it didn't change the fact that she was a bit of a dick. I love Irene and I would've loved a book just based on her

I loved this book. I'm Sindhi and disconnected from my grandparents, who made this trip from Sindh to India. I wish I knew more. I'm glad I have Nisha's story.
