I honestly had to listen to this sequel immediately after finishing the first book because I knew I would have forgotten who the characters were if I hadn’t.

I think this book needs a better editor and some more attention to what the story is actually about. It could have been an amazing story but there was too much confusion about what was the point. Also the audiobook reader had such a flat reading voice that took so much away from the story.

Took me awhile to sink my teeth into this book but once I was hooked, I devoured it.
There were a few moments when I got confused about who was speaking in certain parts of the flashback scenes but otherwise great!
Didn’t love Bea’s character but she’s the only one I felt I didn’t really empathy for but that’s probably just a me thing.
